Edward ClarkeWALLIS(Balerno, Edinburgh, formerly of Fenham, Newcastle).

Dearly loved husband of the late Sheila, father of Sue, Liz and Anne, grandfather of Rachel, Naomi and Dan, and a friend of many. Edward died at home with family on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, aged 86. A committed Christian and a dedicated and talented civil engineer, he lived life to the full.

Edward's committal will be for family only, but please join them for a Thanksgiving Service at St Mungo's Church, Balerno, on Tuesday, 15th April 2025 at 2:30pm to celebrate his life.

No flowers please, but donations, if desired, would be welcomed to Tearfund, long supported by Edward, at www.tearfund.org.

A memorial service will be held in Newcastle later this year.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15 v13.
